Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and BevelUI ("we", "us"), which operates Fábula at fabula.bevelui.com. By creating an account or using Fábula, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Fábula.

1. Who can use Fábula

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
• Fábula is in active development. We may limit who can sign up (for example by invitation), and features may change, be limited or be removed.
• Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account, and each account is for one person.

2. The service

Fábula helps you write scripts, narrate them, make illustrations and render videos, using our own tools and third-party AI services. Free use comes with limits (for example daily free images or a watermark on some renders). Fábula Premium removes or raises these limits; see section 3. We may change limits, features and prices, and will tell you in advance about changes that affect a paid plan.

3. Fábula Premium: payments, renewal, cancellation and refunds

• Price. Premium costs USD 12 per month or USD 99 per year, unless a different price is shown when you buy. Depending on where you live, sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout. There is no free trial.
• What you get. The Premium features described in the app when you buy, such as no watermark, more one-click builds, Cinematic and animated renders, and a larger free-image allowance. Premium doesn't cover charges made by third-party services to your own API keys (section 4).
• Who charges you. Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the merchant of record: Polar charges your payment method, collects any tax and sends your receipts, and its own terms also apply to the purchase. We never see or store your full card details.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and you are charged the price for the next period, until you cancel. If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 14 days before the change applies to you, so you can cancel first.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Manage subscription. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• Refunds. If you're not happy, you can get a full refund within 14 days of your first Premium payment: email support@bevelui.com from your account's email address. Your subscription then ends and your account returns to the free plan. Renewal payments and later periods aren't refunded, but you can cancel at any time so you aren't charged again. Nothing here limits refund or cancellation rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails and isn't fixed, Premium ends and your account returns to the free plan. Your projects stay in your account.
• Deleting your account. Cancel your subscription first; Fábula won't delete an account while a subscription can still charge you.
• If we stop offering Premium or Fábula, we'll refund the unused part of any period you've already paid for.

4. Your API keys and third-party services

• Some features use your own API keys for services such as Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Fish Audio, Google Gemini or fal.ai. You are responsible for the charges those services make to your account and for following their terms and usage policies.
• We use your keys only to carry out the requests you make in Fábula. We're not responsible for those services' availability, output, pricing or changes.
• Google Flow Assist works with your own Google account in your own browser. Google's terms apply to your use of Flow; Fábula never receives your Google password and doesn't act on your Google account.

5. Your content

• You keep ownership of the scripts, files and other material you put into Fábula, and, as far as the law and the AI services' terms allow, of the videos and other results you create.
• You give us permission to store, process, copy and display your content only as needed to run Fábula for you (for example sending a script to the narration service you chose, or rendering your video).
• You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload or ask Fábula to use, including scripts, voices, music, images and any real person's name or likeness.
• AI results can be inaccurate, unexpected or similar to existing works. Review everything before you publish it, and follow the rules of the platforms you publish on (for example YouTube's policies on altered or synthetic content). Using Fábula doesn't guarantee views, monetisation or approval by any platform.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Fábula to:

• break the law or help anyone else do so;
• create content that sexualises minors, promotes violence or hatred, harasses people, or is sexually explicit;
• impersonate real people, or make deceptive content about real people without their consent;
• infringe copyright, trademarks or other people's rights, or copy another creator's videos;
• send spam, distribute malware, or try to break into accounts or systems;
• get around limits or security, for example by opening several accounts to collect more free usage, automating requests, or probing or overloading the service;
• copy, resell or rebuild Fábula itself without our permission.

7. Our rights

Fábula's software, design and brand belong to BevelUI. These terms don't give you any rights to them except to use the service as intended.

8. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Fábula and delete your account at any time in Settings (cancel any Premium subscription first). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or creates legal exposure for us, and where reasonable we'll tell you why. If we close an account for breaking these terms, we'll cancel its subscription so it isn't charged again, and, except where the law requires otherwise, the current period isn't refunded. We may also discontinue Fábula, giving reasonable notice where we can so you can download your projects, and refunding any unused paid period (section 3).

9. Disclaimers

Fábula is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that AI results will be accurate or suitable. Keep your own copies of anything important.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, BevelUI isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, data or opportunities, or for charges made by third-party services you connect. Our total liability for any claim relating to Fábula is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to cover reasonable losses and costs we face because of content you put into Fábula or your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the competent courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring claims there. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you keep using Fábula after that, the new terms apply.
